The turbocharger protection cover is made of an outer layer of silicone impregnated glass fiber, an inner liner of silica insulation cotton, and an inner lining of stainless steel woven mesh. The entire structure is fixed with high-strength stainless steel rope rivets and stainless steel tension bars on the periphery. These materials can withstand impacts during high-speed driving and harsh external conditions, and can operate continuously in a 1000℃ high-temperature environment.

The main function of the turbocharger protection cover is to isolate the high-temperature exhaust from the engine from the turbocharger, thereby reducing the working temperature of the turbocharger and preventing damage to the internal components of the engine caused by high temperatures, allowing it to provide a more stable and continuous boost effect and extend its service life.

Details of Turbo Heat shield

The turbocharger heat insulation blanket is constructed from silicone-impregnated fiberglass (outer layer), a stainless steel woven mesh lining, stainless steel grommets, stainless steel fastening springs, and silica insulation cotton (inner layer). The product can withstand temperatures up to 1200°C and can operate continuously in environments reaching 1000°C.

The turbocharger heat insulation blanket isolates the heat generated by the turbocharger and protects surrounding engine compartment components, such as plastic or rubber hoses, electrical wiring, as well as painted surfaces of the engine bay and hood. This helps prevent heat damage to nearby parts and reduces the risk of fire caused by excessive heat exposure.
